Pointing your domain somewhere else

Pointing your domain
When you register a domain through us, we set sensible defaults so it works immediately. After that, you've got three places to send visitors:
- A Cover Page — your branded landing page, hosted by us.
- An external URL — redirect every visitor to a site you already have elsewhere.
- Custom DNS records — point your domain wherever you want via standard DNS (A, CNAME, MX, TXT records).
You can change which option you use anytime from /account/domains.
Cover Page
If you bought a Cover Page subscription, that's the default. Visitors who land on your domain see your custom page — your name, tagline, sections, contact form. See Cover Page → Editing your Cover Page for the editor walkthrough.
Redirecting somewhere else
Pick Redirect to URL in your domain settings and paste the destination. We handle the redirect at the registrar level — fast, no extra hosting on your side.
Custom DNS
For email, hosting elsewhere, or anything beyond a redirect, manage records at /account/domains/{your-domain}/dns. We support A, AAAA, CNAME, MX, TXT, and a few others.
